Exhibition activities of the museum are composed of permanent exhibitions and short-dated thematic exhibitions. The permanent exhibitions offer a cross-section through the archeological and artistic-industrial collection and a collection of citizens portrait, the next parts are devoted to ethnography and history of craft and guilds. There is also the original furniture of the Viennese workroom of A. V. Šembera and an extensive hyped-up native scene by Smutek. You can see the short-dated thematic exhibitions in the building of the museum.

The museum has in administration also the observation Prague Tower and the Baroque areal in Vraclav with a valuable collection of baroque wooden statues from Králíky - Dolní Hedeč.
